Hello Sleuthers! For those of you who don’t know, I created and manage The Cozy Mystery Book Club. In addition to the livestreams, I create and post content for the Twitter, Instagram, my personal website, and YouTube. All the coziness, across platforms. (There is always something to do.)

Every so often, I get asked questions about cozy mysteries and/or discussing cozy mysteries online. One of the most common questions I get asked is how best to find cozy content. To help, I created these images featuring some of the hashtags I most frequently use when I pos Instagram pictures featuring cozy mysteries.

In addition to using specifically bookish cozy content hashtags, I like to use other cozy-related tags such as #tealover or #coffeeaholic (especially if they pertain to the Instagram image). Also, if you’re posting a book, it is a really good idea to include the title as a hashtag. Even if there aren’t that many Instagram posts using that title as a hashtag, Please don’t be discouraged. If/when someone searches specifically for that book, your image will appear. This is better for the search algorithm because it is much easier to have your content appear via hashtag than as plain text in an Instagram caption. As you can see below, I included “Live and Let Chai” as a hashtag.
