The Bad Beginning by Lemony Snicket begins A Series of Unfortunate Events. The reader is introduced to the characters, plights, and Snicket's sense of humor. I loved this series when I was younger and still enjoy it today.

The Vampire Phenomenon

The Vampire Phenomenon

Vampires are one of the most well-known supernatural creatures in literature. After conducting a semester long study on these magical mystical creatures, I posted three unique YouTube videos, "The Vampire Phenomenon," "Vampires a.k.a. the Others in Society," and "The Vampire Teeth." I wanted to address the vampire phenomenon and how influential these creatures have become in pop culture.

Let it Snow" by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle | Book Review

Let It Snow by John Green, Maureen Johnson, and Lauren Myracle is a phenomenal book. I absolutely loved it! Each author contributed their own story and was able to intertwine the narratives to make the book feel flawless. Instead of reading three separate stories, they overlapped in many ways from tone, humor, and characters.

Even When You Lie to Me | Book Review

Even When You Lie to Me by Jessica Alcott is not the type of book I would typically buy. But, I became very intrigued by the summary provided on Goodreads as well as the positive reviews from readers. Charlotte, better known as Charlie, has always been in the shadow of her best friend, Lila. When senior year begins, Charlie expects it to be similar to every other experience she has ever had with Lila in the limelight. Things take an odd turn, however, when Mr. Drummond takes over her Advanced Placement English class. On the first day, he gives her the nickname Chuck rather than call her Charlie. From that moment on, Charlie becomes intrigued by his presence in her life.
