Today, I wanted to highlight ten of my favorite holiday films in honor of the holiday season.
1. Home Alone (1990)
This movie always makes me laugh. I've been watching this film for as long as I can remember. Every Christmas this movie needs to be played (multiple times).
2. The Santa Clause (1994)
Sometimes children wonder where Santa came from...The Santa Clause explains everything.
3. Elf (2003)
Some of the funniest Christmas quotes people say during the holiday season, come from this movie.
4. Arthur Christmas (2011)
While Arthur Christmas hasn't reached cult status yet, I firmly believe that it will. "There is always time for a bow."
5. Home Alone 2 (1992)
If you loved Home Alone, then Home Alone 2 needed to be included in this list, too:)
6. Die Hard (1988)
"Come out to the coast, get together, have a few laughs."
7. Lethal Weapon (1987)
Yes, for those of you who forgot, Lethal Weapon is technically a Christmas themed film.
8. About a Boy (2002)
About a Boy happens to be one of my favorite movies (and I'm not just limiting that statement to Christmas). If you haven't seen About a Boy yet, you need to!
9. A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)
Everyone needs to watch A Charlie Brown Christmas at least once.
10. Miracle on 34th Street (1947)
I wanted to feature one classic film among my top ten list and there was no doubt in my mind that I needed to cite Miracle on 34th Street.
